This article is timely as I watched a You Tube video short with a fellow showing clips of Catholics allegedly “worshipping” the BVM “as God,” including an incriminating quote from Fr. Rippinger. The comments were all typically Protestant. They don’t understand that they are dividing Christianity at the worst possible time. The ripple effect on family unity and obedience to moral laws compounds human suffering, which I will pay for in my own and now my children‘s experience. I trust God will watch over them as he hears my prayers. But it would be nice if I didn’t deviate from Catholic moral teachings in the seventies and later. Keep up the excellent work.
"Can any Church be the true Church which does not oppose the spirit of the world?"
This is very damning for the Novus Ordo. I converted to Catholicism precisely because of this truth. I figured the Catholic Church had to be true because of how the world persecuted it. I, fortunately, was informed properly, for the most part, but came through a Novus Ordo parish, not knowing any better. After a considerable time in the Novus Ordo world, I quickly concluded the Church I was looking for was not the Novus Ordo, because the world loves the Novus Ordo and the Novus Ordo does not oppose the spirit of the world.
The Catholic Church is persecuted by the world, and the Novus Ordo does its fair share of the scourging.
Beautiful! Many thanks!
Thanks Zita, and for your support generally!
